Privacy policy
Last updated: 31 July 2026
1. Controller
The controller for data processing on this website within the meaning of the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) is the entity named in the legal notice. For any privacy-related questions you can reach us at the email address stated there.
2. General principles
We process personal data only to the extent necessary to provide a functional website along with our content and services, or where you have given consent. Data is shared with third parties only where legally permitted or required to fulfil a contract.
3. Hosting
This website is hosted by Vercel Inc. When you access the site, the host automatically records server log files (IP address, date and time of access, page requested, volume of data transferred, referrer, browser type and operating system). This processing is based on our legitimate interest in providing the website securely and reliably (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). A data processing agreement is in place with the provider.
4. Contacting us by email
If you contact us by email, we process the details you submit (name, email address and your message) solely to handle your enquiry. The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR for contract-related enquiries and otherwise Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR. This website does not offer a contact form, so no form data is transmitted through our server. We delete the data once the enquiry has been fully dealt with and no statutory retention periods apply.
5. Cookies
This website uses technically necessary cookies required for the operation of the site (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). Your choice in the cookie notice is stored locally in your browser. Non-essential cookies, in particular for usage statistics, are set only with your explicit consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR). You can withdraw your consent at any time with effect for the future by clearing the stored data in your browser.
6. Usage statistics
If you have given consent, we collect anonymised usage statistics in order to improve the website. No profiles of individual persons are created and no data is passed on to advertising networks.
7. Your rights
You have the right to information about the data stored about you (Art. 15 GDPR), to rectification (Art. 16 GDPR), to erasure (Art. 17 GDPR), to restriction of processing (Art. 18 GDPR), to data portability (Art. 20 GDPR) and to object to processing (Art. 21 GDPR). You may withdraw any consent given at any time. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority; the competent authority is the State Commissioner for Data Protection of Lower Saxony.
8. SSL/TLS encryption
For security reasons and to protect the transmission of confidential content, this site uses TLS encryption. You can recognise an encrypted connection in your browser's address bar.
9. Changes to this policy
We update this privacy policy whenever changes to our services or the legal situation make it necessary. The version available on this page applies.
